8U- JUNIOR MUSTANGS
Our 8U Boys Lacrosse program is designed for young athletes in 1st and 2nd grade who are ready to discover the fun of lacrosse.
SEASON
The Lacrosse season runs from March through the end of May.
GAMES
Teams will participate in a Spring League. Games will be held on either Friday nights, Saturdays or Sundays. Every team will play two (back-to back) games.

Practices
Practices times and locations will vary throughout the season depending on the weather conditions. 8U practices once a week for 90 minutes.

TEAM FEES
$350.00 per player
- $7 processing fee
There will be a $25 late charge for players who register after January 16, 2026.
Scholarships are available for those who qualify.
JERSEYS
Reversable pinnies will be provided to each player. The cost of pinnies is included in the team fees.
EQUIPMENT
All players will need a helmet, stick, gloves, shoulder pads, arm pads, a mouthguard and a protective cup.
The official Marquette helmet is not required but can be purchased at Ultimate Lacrosse.
We do have some donated equipment that player are welcome to use. Please reach out to us at marquettemustangjrlacrosse@gmail.com if you player would like to borrow some equipment.

8U JUNIOR MUSTANGS SPRING
Our 8U Boys Lacrosse program is designed for young athletes in 1st and 2nd grade who are ready to discover the fun of lacrosse. Whether players are brand new to the sport or have some experience, this program focuses on building confidence and developing the basic skills every player needs.
Players will practice once a week for 60 minutes, learning fundamentals such as passing, catching, cradling, scooping ground balls, and shooting in a supportive, fun environment.
Each weekend, teams will play two back-to-back games through the a spring league, giving players the chance to learn game flow, teamwork, and sportsmanship while gaining valuable playing experience.
The 8U program emphasizes fun, skill development, and a love for the game while preparing players for the next level of lacrosse.
